So every week (sorry I missed week one) I will make my NFL picks. Nothing witty, cause I'm tired today. That will happen when you're up til 3 in the morning stressing and writing essays, then don't eat until six thirty pm the next day when you have to go out to dinner with your grandparents. Sigh... anyways... here are those pics... Oh, ps... expect a legit, mind altering, insight to Matt's mind blog in the next couple days, cause there will be one....
Tennessee at Cincinnati - Vince Young's career may be ending in front of our eyes. Tennessee is in a world of trouble. Cincy isn't that great, but they're not a bad team. Chad Ocho Cinco (hehe) and company should light up the Titans. CINCINNATI
Green Bay at Detroit - Aaron Rodgers looked good in his first start, and Detroit shouldn't derail him. Expect Ryan Grant to have a big game. GREEN BAY
Oakland at Kansas City - Oakland looked terrible against a decent at best Denver team monday. Kansas City made it a game against a Brady-less Patriots. KANSAS CITY.
NY Giants at St. Louis - The bad news? The Giants did not look good against the Washington Dead-Skins. The good news? They're playing an equally bad team in the Rams. NY GIANTS
Indianapolis at Minnesota - This is an interesting match-up. Both the Colts and the Vikings are coming off week one losses, but both are good teams. The Vikes lost in Lambeau, while the Colts lost as home to the Bears. Hmm... I'm taking Minnesota because it's in Minnesota, but Bob Sanders might be able to shut down the Peterson. Either way it should be a good game. MINNESOTA
New Orleans at Washington - I need to mention here how much I love Drew Brees. Thanks to him I won my week one fantasy game. Even without Marques Colston the Saints should be able to hold off the Deadskins. NEW ORLEANS
Chicago at Carolina - Both teams are off big upset wins in week one. Chicago has a legit defense, but they still don't have a quarterback, and until they start someone other than Rex Orton (or Kyle Grossman) I can't take them seriously. CAROLINA
Buffalo at Jacksonville - I'm taking Buffalo only because Marshaun Lynch is my premier fantasy back, and I need a big game from him. BUFFALO
San Francisco at Seattle - Even without a starting wide reciever the Seahawks should have no problem with the 49ers. They're that bad. SEATTLE
Atlanta at Tampa Bay - Garcia's out. Ryan looked good. Call me crazy, but I'm riding the karma bus today. ATLANTA
New England at NY Jets - No Brady? No problem. The Pats are going to show why they're still the brass of the AFC. Sorry Brett... NEW ENGLAND
Miami at Arizona - No explanation needed. ARIZONA
San Diego at Denver - San Diego looked weak against Carolina, and now Merriman is out for the season. I smell an 8-8 season on the horizon. In Devner, San Diego's troubles will continue. DENVER
Baltimore at Houston - I picked Houston as a wild card team in my pre-season predictions. They responded by getting spanked by Pittsburgh. Sorry Houston, maybe next year. BALTIMORE
Pittsburgh at Cleveland - My upset special of the week. I know Cleveland isn't that bad of a team, but Pittsburgh is that good. At home, Cleveland should bounce back from an ugly week one loss to Denver. CLEVELAND
Philadelphia at Dallas - If this were in Philly, I'd take the Eagles. I think McNabb is going to continue where he left off. But I can't go against Dallas at home. They're just too good. DALLAS
